Our Elastomer seal works in the various hydraulic and pneumatic systems to be sealed perfectly,
it comes in a variety of sizes and configurations that meets customer’s requirements
Fastener and Fitting Seals
Coin & Splined Seal
Thred Seal
Sealing Washer (Slimline Seal)
These type of seals are specially designed to fit directly under the head of ANSI B18 bolt sizes. The outer metal ring provides a load path for the bolt and eliminates cold flow or creep associated with other bolt sealing methods. The coin & spline on the inner diameter of the metal washer provides a strong mechanical bond between the rubber and the metal. This type of bond will not be subject to chemical attack from the surrounding media and prevents bond failure during installation of seal over threads. The rubber is molded in a rounded configuration to maximize seal resilience and enhance seal performance.
These seals are specifically designed to seal directly under the nuts or next to tapped holes for ANSI B18 bolts and screws. Thread seals are designed to seal along the threads of the bolt as well as around the nut or the tapped assembly. These seals use a coin & spline mechanical bond or chemical bond method and the rubber has a rectangular cross-section to enhance thread sealing capabilities. Thread seals require increased void clearance to accommodate the increased rubber volume of this configuration.
Bonded Seal
These seals are commonly used when design constraints do not allow the use of coin & splined seal or Thread seal. As the name implies, the rubber and metal in these seals are chemically bonded together. For these seals, the rubber cross-section is often designed in a triangular pattern to minimize space requirements.
Machined-groove bonded Seal
These type of seals use a metal plate machined with ports for the fluids to flow through and grooves into which the rubber sealing element is bonded and molded. The rubber seal configuration maximizes sealing performance while the metal plate positions the seals in optimal locations and provides a torque retention path for the system being sealed.
Groove-bonded seals are used in high demand applications where extreme pressures and/or media demands must be considered. The machined grooves of this design protect and reinforce the rubber and allow for one-sided or dual-sided seal plates. As with all our products, a multitude of metal, metal finish and rubber combinations are available.
These seals are specifically designed for AC system of vehicle. Below 2 types have been developed.
